How to restore a database in JetBackup

Open JetBackup in cPanel and choose Database Backups. Select the database you want to restore and review the available restore dates. Pick a date from before the issue happened, then choose Restore. JetBackup will queue the task and replace the current database with the backed-up version. Take care with shops, booking systems and membership sites because restoring a database can remove newer orders, users or changes. If unsure, download a copy first or ask XL Hosts NL support to advise. After the restore completes, clear website cache and test the site.

Need help? XL Hosts NL customers can open a support ticket from the client area and our team can check your hosting account safely.
