How to manage MySQL databases in cPanel
Many websites use MySQL databases to store content, settings and users. In cPanel, open MySQL Databases to create a database, then create a database user with a strong password. Add the user to the database and grant the required permissions. WordPress and PHP applications need these details during installation. To view database tables, open phpMyAdmin from cPanel. Be careful inside phpMyAdmin, because deleting or editing rows can break a website. Before making database changes, export a backup or use JetBackup. Store database passwords securely and update application configuration files carefully.
