How to import a database with phpMyAdmin
Open phpMyAdmin from cPanel and select the target database in the left menu. Click Import, choose your .sql file, then start the import. Smaller databases usually import quickly, while larger files may take longer or need support assistance if they exceed upload limits. Importing into a database that already contains tables can overwrite or duplicate data, so take a backup first. After import, update your website configuration with the correct database credentials if needed. For WordPress migrations, also check the site URL values if the domain changed.
