How to create a subdomain in cPanel

Open cPanel and go to Domains. Select Create A New Domain and enter your subdomain, such as staging.yourdomain.com. Choose a document root folder where the subdomain files will live. Save the domain and allow DNS time to update if the DNS zone is managed externally. You can upload files to the subdomain folder using File Manager, FTP, or install WordPress with Softaculous. Subdomains are useful for testing, support portals, client areas, landing pages or separate applications. Remember to enable SSL so the new subdomain loads securely over HTTPS.
