How to use Terminal in cPanel safely
Some cPanel accounts include Terminal access for command-line tasks. Open Terminal only if you understand the command you are running or support has provided instructions. Terminal can be useful for Composer, Laravel commands, file searches, permission checks or clearing caches, but it can also delete files quickly if used incorrectly. Never paste random commands from the internet without checking them. Take a backup before running commands that modify files or databases.
