How to enable two-factor authentication in cPanel

Open Two-Factor Authentication in cPanel if available on your hosting plan. Click Set Up Two-Factor Authentication and scan the QR code with an authenticator app. Enter the generated code to confirm setup. From then on, cPanel will require both your password and a rotating security code when logging in. Store backup access details safely and do not share them with developers or staff. Two-factor authentication is strongly recommended for business hosting accounts because it reduces the risk of account access if a password is guessed, reused or stolen.
